The trailer for Sparkle debuted yesterday, giving fans a look at Whitney Houston's final film performance in the Supremes-inspired remake.
The late singer returned to the big screen after a 16-year hiatus to play the mother of three girls trying to make it big in the music industry. Jordin Sparks, Cee Lo Green, Mike Epps, Derek Luke, Tika Sumpter and Amari Hardwick co-starred in the movie set to hit theaters this summer.
This was intended to be a comeback role for Houston, who died Feb. 11.
Sparkle arrives in theaters on August 17...Will you be watching?

I am looking forward to it. I have a feeling this movie is going to be a box office hit which will break movie record sales when it comes out, not necessarily because of its theme but because whitney starred in it.- BRIGHTINO
